Mothers are resilient, creative, strong and dynamic. I originally designed a Mother’s Day arrangement with soft roses, light and airy sweet peas, beautiful but superficial and surface. My new Mother’s Day arrangement is full of unexpected delights - architectural branches of dogwood waiting to bloom - a symbol of patience. fritallaria, an uncommon cousin to the tulip, naturally swooping arches - a symbol of flexibility. Purple scabiosa, rigid but complex, a symbol of determination.
This arrangement is for all the mothers in our lives who are so much more than meets the eye and deserve much more than the status quo.
Composed in my signature loose garden style, and overflowing with a large variety of flowers. Every arrangement has a beautiful presence on a gathering table, but also works in your entry or on your bedside table for some aromatherapy! Photo is an accurate representation of size, style and colors. Individual arrangements will look very similar, but vary slightly, as in life and in nature.
